No matter your age or fitness level, rock climbing is great for setting and achieving goals and feeling the victory when you reach your personal best. A fun outdoor activity that improves your personal fitness, agility, strength and confidence. You can also gain valuable life skills along the way.
Rock climbing is a satisfying and rewarding adventure activity which enables you to track your progress and accomplishments as you go. You can challenge yourself and stretch your comfort zone to improve self-esteem and overcome fear. A great outdoor adventure activity for improving fitness, strength, hand-eye-foot coordination, agility, balance and stamina.
Rock climbing helps you to think outside the box for creative solutions. Learn how to set new goals, trust yourself and others around you. Learn alternative ways to achieve the overall goal. Discover the power of collaborating, communicating and working together as a team under pressure.
Learn technical skills for climbing, and how to stay safe and have fun on along the way. Uncover the rich history of your surrounding environment.

Rock Climbing Short Course dates - 2 intakes to choose from:
Intake1: 4-day programme over 2 weeks (includes 1 overnight stay)
Week 1: Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th October 2024 (at Wintec)
Week 2: Thursday 10th and Friday 11th October 2024
(on location – Harvest Rock, with overnight camp stay on Thursday night at Hamilton Tomo Group Hut, Waitomo then outdoor climbing at Pakeho on Friday
