Build your capability from the ground up with our comprehensive EST pathway. This programme includes all Electrical Appliance Service (EAS, formally EASQ – 230V) learning, providing a strong foundation before progressing into the skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively maintain 400-volt appliances(EST). Designed as a complete training journey, you’ll develop both the theoretical understanding and practical skills needed to work confidently, safely, and in line with industry requirements.

Course Description
This programme is designed as a complete training pathway, incorporating all required Electrical Appliance Service (EAS (formally EASQ) – 230V) learning outcomes alongside Electrical Service Technician (EST – 400V) training. You will build a strong foundation in EAS theory and practice before progressing to the knowledge and skills needed to safely and effectively service higher voltage appliances.
By the end of the programme, you will be equipped to:
- Apply safe working practices across both 230V and 400V appliances
- Demonstrate the knowledge required for EST registration
- Confidently undertake servicing and maintenance in line with industry and regulatory standards
- Be fully prepared to sit the required EWRB EST theory examination.
ASPEQ Examinations
ASPEQ delivers online examinations for EWRB registration, available throughout the year at approved exam centres. To sit an exam, you must first complete an approved course of instruction and have your eligibility confirmed by your training provider.
Please note:
- Course fees do not include EWRB examination fees
- Examination bookings and payments are made directly through ASPEQ via their website after completion of this programme
Delivery method for this programme will be as follows
Week One - 1 x Online live zoom night class 5.30pm to 8.30pm ( do this from you own location )
Week Two - 2 x online live zoom night classes 5.30pm to 8.30pm ( do this from you own location )
Week Three to Seven - Two nights per week on Campus 5.30pm to 8.30pm
