Electricians Practical for Registration Stages 123 Training programme

This hands on practical training will suit anyone who needs to prepare or train for the Practical 123 Assessments required for EWRB NZ Electrician registration and/or NZ Electrical Engineer registration.

Description

Course Description

A full time, practical training block course held over five days. Attendance is vital for anyone approved by EWRB and seeking full NZ Electrical/ Electrical Engineering registration to work in New Zealand.

Assessment training is provided under three stages of practical requirements from the Electrical Workers Registration Board - EWRB Electrical Regulations. Visit the EWRB website for more information about their regulations and requirements.

You will be required to present a copy of your current First Aid and CPR Certificate to the tutor.

Prerequisites

Pre-Programme Planning

You need to have completed the Electrical Safe Working Practices Safety training (here) and Regulations Programme training (here)  before attempting this training.

All new electrical workers need to apply for an EWRB EW Number.

ALL new Electrical Workers now need to create their own profile by going online to the EWRB website and clicking on Register:   www.ewrb.govt

This gives you the EW number you will need to bring with you to the programme. Please arrange this before you attend the first day and give to the tutor to apply your results/assessments to your profile at EWRB. Please note this is NOT your electrical registration number, nor does it give you the registration to begin electrical work here in New Zealand. This is required for training result purposes only.
