EWRB Safe Working Practices Electrical Safety Testing only
This course is for workers who are new to the electrical industry in New Zealand and need to complete the training required by the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) to attain a Trainee Limited Certificate (TLC) or Provisional Licence.
Description
Course Description
This short, hands-on course, with a certain amount of theoretical discussion, will keep you up to date and competent in electrical safety - as required by the EWRB.
The one day course contains tutorials and a practical assessment. We need evidence that you have completed your Firdat Aid and CPR training prior to undertaking this course (6401 & 6402)
Please note, on successful completion of this course a Trainee Limited License can be applied for with EWRB. The outcome of this course is reported directly to the EWRB.
Prerequisites
All new electrical workers need to apply for an EWRB EW Number.
ALL new Electrical Workers now need to create their own profile by going online to the EWRB website and clicking on Register: www.ewrb.govt
This gives you the EW number you will need to bring with you to the programme. Please arrange this before you attend the first day and give to the tutor to apply your results/assessments to your profile at EWRB. Please note this is NOT your electrical registration number, nor does it give you the registration to begin electrical work here in New Zealand. This is required for training result purposes only.
