Prerequisites

You will be required to present a copy of your current First Aid and CPR Certificate to the tutor. The certificate needs to be from a one day practical first aid course equivalent to unit standards 6401/6402 or 26551/26552.

All new electrical workers need to apply for an EWRB EW Number.

ALL new Electrical Workers now need to create their own profile by going online to the EWRB website and clicking on Register:   www.ewrb.govt

This gives you the EW number you will need to bring with you to the programme. Please arrange this before you attend the first day and give to the tutor to apply your results/assessments to your profile at EWRB. Please note this is NOT your electrical registration number, nor does it give you the registration to begin electrical work here in New Zealand. This is required for training result purposes only.
